London, 20 Feb - The deadline to pass the bills Iran needs in order to conform to international anti-money-laundering laws and standards established by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) was last Sunday. Because two of the bills have not passed, Tehran is at risk of being blacklisted by the international money-transaction transparency body.

London, 7 Feb - In January, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that Iran had conducted a satellite launch despite being urged not to by the United States. The rocket containing the Payam satellite did not succeed in its mission because, according to the country’s Telecommunications Minister Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi, it did not gather enough speed.

Mike Pompeo said at the time that Iran is shamelessly disregarding the UN Security Resolution that bans it from participating in activities related to ballistic missiles that are capable of delivering a nuclear weapon.

During the state sponsored demonstrations that were held across Iran on February 11th, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei warned factions within the regime to refrain from in-fighting. However, the quarreling factions continued to accuse each other of creating the country’s current economic misery and escalating political crises.

For instance, the Karaj Friday prayer Imam’s took offense to a speech by Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani. Khamenei had to step in on February 8th, to say, “There is a difference of opinion and you disagree for any reason. That official, this chair, that gentleman, you don’t accept them, that’s no problem, but the February 11 demonstration isn’t a place for retaliation.”

The Iranian Regime is terrified about the conference on peace in the Middle East, currently being held in Warsaw, and they have every right to be.

Only a few days ago, it seemed likely that, despite Poland hosting the conference, the European states would continue to condemn the US for pulling out of the Iranian nuclear deal and reimposing sanctions against the Gulf state. Now, thanks to the Regime’s actions, it seems more likely that the US will bring the EU more in line with its policy on Iran.

In 1979, the anti-monarchical revolution by the Iranian people was usurped by the theocratic regime that still holds power in Iran today. But how long can this regime remain in power before the mullahs, like the Shah, are deposed?

Currently, Iran is facing several crises on domestic and international levels that are limiting the mullahs’ power. First, increased economic sanctions and diplomatic isolation from the US are reducing the flow of money and political legitimacy that Iran relies on to expand its influence across other countries in the Middle East. Second, and more importantly, the Iranian people’s uprising, which began in December 2017 and continues despite a violent crackdown, is showing the world that the mullahs and their malign behaviour are not supported by the Iranian people, thus increasing the countries that wish to join the US in sanctioning and isolating the regime.

London, 14 Feb -  Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei issued a confusing message on Wednesday, saying that the regime was “ready to correct its mistakes” but not willing to change itself before going on to bash Western countries for taking legitimate actions against the mullahs or not doing enough to appease them.

He said if Iran would lose both economically and spiritually if it negotiates with the “criminal” US and that Iran must limit its dealings with “cunning” and “untrustworthy” European states.

London, 30 Jan - Iran is openly furious about an international conference on peace in the Middle East set to take place in Poland next month, with officials regarding it as a hostile act and even summoning a Polish diplomat to the Foreign Ministry in order to protest it.

Still many Iranian officials and heads of Friday prayers have attempted to downplay the importance of the conference, which Iran has not been invited to, but what is clear from their comments is the underlying fear that this conference could result in a coalition against the regime’s terrorism and regional meddling.

London, 25 Jan - German officials have announced that an Iranian airline has been banned from all German airports. Mahan Air has been accused of using its aircraft to transport personnel and weapons to terrorists in Syria.

In the run-up to the Warsaw Conference on international policy toward the Middle East, which is expected to focus very strongly on the various ways that the Iranian Regime destabilises the region, the mullahs have ramped up their disinformation campaign against their opposition, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

Why is the Iranian Regime doing this?

London, 23 Jan - Following allegations by the U.S., Iran’s Mahan Air has been banned by Germany’s government from operating in their country. U.S. officials say that Mahan’s aircraft transported weapons and fighters to war-torn Syria.

The move against Mahan Air is believed to be the result of pressure from the Trump administration, but a spokesman for the German government said that the ban was necessary to protect the interests of the federal government.

The image included the caption: “40 years of corruption. 40 years of repression. 40 years of terror. The regime in Iran has produced only #40YearsofFailure.
